The screenshot below shows the controls you have within the game, mostly used are "Customise" use this link to choose the Race and what clothes you like, including underwear, tattoos, glasses and more.

The "Friends" link is to track where your friends are in the virtual world or if they are on or off-line. The rest are pretty obvious and some you'll just have to find out when your there!
